JULT2006, the 1st Juxtopia Urban Learning Technology Conference occurred at the Marriott Inner Harbor in Baltimore, MD, USA.  The theme was TAKE THE LEAD!

The goal of that conference was to help students improve their academic performance, cultural awareness, and self-esteem.

The keynote speaker was Dr. Carla H. Hayden, Executive Director of the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore, MD with remarks by Congressman Elijah Cummings.
